The Agora Reborn
Awakening MAJJAM's Social Stronghold for Spring 2026
During our previous Playtests, the Agora was already the heart of MAJJAM. For our upcoming April 2026 Playtest, we want to make it even more special.
What Changes in the upcoming Playtest
When the next playtest opens, you will find:
- A space nearly three times larger
- The structure set deeper underground, reinforcing its role as shelter
- Vendors present and functional
- A place where legends and top players are celebrated
Vendors Arrive
They've come to support the war effort and, with the help of the woodweavers, have set up their stalls and are now ready to meet you.
Each vendor has a distinct look, hinting at the wider cultures of MAJJAM and introducing a practical reason to return.
The most fashionable Stylist in all of the lands of Majjam. Here to make sure you fight the fog with style!
A mysterious and shy creature that crawled out of her burrow to put her ingenuity and craft in service to the people of Majjam.
This brilliant and eccentric composer is one of the main reasons the defense of the Agora is still possible, providing Jam Cards to our heroes and allowing them to restore and interact with the world through music.
One of the last remaining of his kind in the world, he stores the body language of every person he meets and has become over the years a fabulous teacher in expressivity.
The Heart at the Center
Previously, you'd notice the Heart of MAJJAM, this big luminous artefact, while passing through the Agora for a quest.
Now it anchors the space, framed by massive root arches overhead and visible from across the plaza. It remains symbolic for now, but it is designed to act as a shared focal point.
A Stronghold That Has Endured
The Agora now sits deeper underground, similar to a shelter. Suspended platforms hang from the vault, holding a few homes meant to shelter refugees and survivors of the Fog.
To give the place a sense of history, we chose to show some ruined elements, especially on the ground and in the surroundings of the Agora. This is not the first time the Agora has served as a stronghold during a time of crisis.

When the next Playtest opens:
- Do vendors give you a reason to return to the Agora?
- Does the space make it easier to find other players?
